A2MEND honored with leadership award

The Umoja Community Education Foundation was honored with a leadership award at the Annual A2MEND conference held on Thursday, March 3rd at the Los Angeles Airport Hilton Hotel.  Dr. Teresa Aldredge, Acting Executive Director, accepted the award on behalf of the Umoja Governing Board and thanked Chancellor Brice Harris and the Board of Governors for providing sponsorship funding to support the Umoja Community program mission of student success, persistence and transfer.
